Terry James is a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law, he holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, and is a 2003 graduate of Texas Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
As a law school student, Terry was one of four recipients of the Washington D.C. based Council on Legal Education Opportunity’s Scholarship Award and competed in the National Black Law Students Association’s Fredrick Douglass Moot Court Competition where he and his partner were awarded Best-Petitioner’s Brief in the Midwest region. Currently, Terry is actively involved with the J.L. Turner Legal Association serving on the mentoring committee, and serves on the board of the Dallas-based contemporary dance company, Beckles Dancing Company.
Terry was admitted to practice in the State of Texas in 2009 and practices in the areas of business transactions and general civil litigation.
